For every Recruitment or Assignment you create in Martide you need to specify a Pipeline.
A Pipeline is made up of steps that tell you what to do next in your recruitment / hiring process.
You can add as many or as few steps to a Pipeline as you need.

Here we’re going to explain what each stage in a Pipeline is and what it means for your recruitment process.
Where to find Pipeline stages: Settings > Pipelines > go to an existing Pipeline or create a new one > when in a Pipeline, click the Add Stage button
Approval
Only used in Assignment Pipelines.
Approving this stage means you have approved a candidate to move forward in the process.
Assessments
Used in both Recruitment and Assignment Pipelines.
Approving this stage means that any Assessments have been completed and passed as per your required score
Awaiting
Used in Recruitment Pipelines.
This is a default stage which will always be included in a Pipeline, however you can edit it.
Approving this stage moves a candidate from pending status and into the hiring process.
Contract Sign
Used in Assignment Pipelines.
This is a default stage which will always be included in a Pipeline, however you can edit it.
Approving this stage means that the candidate has signed their contract with you.
Document Validation
Used in both Recruitment and Assignment Pipelines.
Approving this stage means that the seafarer documents that are required in the Data Template for a position have been checked and approved.
Form
Used in both Recruitment and Assignment Pipelines.
Approving this stage means that any Forms related to the position have been completed.
Hired
Used in Assignment Pipelines.
This is a default stage which will always be included in a Pipeline, however you can edit it.
Approving this stage states that the candidate has been hired for your Assignment.
Medical Check
Used in both Recruitment and Assignment Pipelines.
Approving this stage means that medical checks have been completed.
Negotiation
Used in both Recruitment and Assignment Pipelines.
This is a default stage which will always be included in a Pipeline, however you can edit or delete it.
Approving this stage means that negotiations with the candidate are complete.
Personal Information
Used in both Recruitment and Assignment Pipelines.
Approving this stage means that all the candidate’s personal information as required in the Data Template has been filled out.
Recruited
Used in Recruitment Pipelines.
This is a default stage which will always be included in a Pipeline, however you can edit it.
Approving this stage means that the candidate has been added to your seafarer database for potential future hiring.
Sea Service Check
Used in both Recruitment and Assignment Pipelines.
Approving this stage means that the candidate’s Sea Service check has been completed.
This takes the last 3 work history entries to display in the Assignment or Recruitment - without any "work history" the pipeline will be empty.
Visas
Used in both Recruitment and Assignment Pipelines.
Approving this stage means that the candidate holds the correct travel visas.
