In Martide you can set your seafarer profile page to either Private or Public.
The difference is:
Private: only you can see your profile and its details.
Public: crew managers and manning agents can see your profile.
The benefit of having your profile set to Public is that crew managers and manning agents can find you in Martide’s database of seafarers and contact you directly if they think you are suitable for one of their job vacancies.
Here’s how to set your seafarer profile to Public.
Log in to your Martide account.
Click on My Profile in the menu on the left.
On the right you will see a button that says Private.
When you click the Private button, you will see this:
Click on the Public box to change your profile’s status, so that crew managers and manning agents can find you in Martide, and increase the chances of you being offered an interview or job. Click Save.
Your profile is now set to Public:
