Icon Meanings in Crew Changes

Written by Eve Church

How to Change the Working Gear Icon from Red to Green

To turn the working gear icon from red (seafarer has not confirmed that they have received their working gear) to green (seafarer has confirmed they have received the working gear), you need to:

  1. Make sure the working gear has been sent to the seafarer

  2. Ask the seafarer to confirm that they have received it

How to Make Sure Working Gear Has Been Sent to the Seafarer

Go to: Settings > Working Gear

Check that the on- or off-signing seafarer’s rank and vessel are included in one of your sets of working gear:

If they are not, you will need to add them to a set or create a new one. To find out how to do this, see this page.

You can also see what working gear has been assigned to which ranks on the working gear tab on a vessel’s profile page. To learn more, see this page.

When a set of working gear has been created, the items of clothing will be sent to the seafarer. They will need to then confirm that they have received them. Remind your seafarer to:

  1. Log in to their Martide account, either online or on the app

  2. Click Crew Change in the menu bar

  3. Go to the Working Gear section on that page and click the Confirm button

The working gear icon will then turn from red to green in the on- or off-signers section in your crew change.
