Martide is Changing: What Companies Need to Know

Martide is changing. Our crew management software will now be known as Martide Crew Manager, and seafarer job advertising and candidate search are moving to our new website, ProSeafarers.

What this means for your company depends on how you currently use Martide.

If you are a crew manager or manning agent who uses Martide for crew management, planning and recruitment, you will keep your account.

Martide's crew management software is now called Martide Crew Manager. The system overall is not changing, so you can continue working as before.

Your vessels, crew, documents, recruitment pipelines, internal positions and team will stay in the Martide Crew Manager software. Seafarers already linked to your company will also stay there, together with their documents and history.

There are two main changes:

Seafarer search is moving to ProSeafarers. Instead of searching the general Martide seafarer database, you will search for new candidates on ProSeafarers.

You now have two ways to advertise vacancies. You can continue using Martide Crew Manager when you want to send seafarers directly to your company's application page. Your required documents and recruitment pipeline stages will work as before.

You can also advertise on ProSeafarers, where your vacancies can be discovered by a wider audience. Applying is quicker because seafarers do not need to upload documents before applying.

Your existing public Martide job adverts will be copied to ProSeafarers as drafts. Seafarers cannot see them or apply until you publish them. Internal positions will remain in Martide Crew Manager.

We will set up ProSeafarers access for your company’s account owners only. Other team members will not be added automatically, but you can invite them once you have signed in. Everyone keeps their existing Martide Crew Manager access.

You are not required to use ProSeafarers, but you will receive a free trial period if you would like to try it.

Continue using Martide Crew Manager for your existing crew management, planning and recruitment activities, and use ProSeafarers when you want to search the wider seafarer database or advertise vacancies publicly.

If you decide to use ProSeafarers, sign in, review your draft job adverts and publish the ones you want seafarers to see. Then invite your team.

If your company does not use Martide’s crew management functionality, your existing Martide account will close, and a ProSeafarers account will be created for you.

Posting a vacancy is simpler than it was in Martide. Simply enter the essential information, including the rank, vessel, and dates, and publish your advert without first creating a recruitment pipeline or specifying required documents.

Your vacancies will appear alongside jobs from other companies, making them easier for seafarers to discover.

ProSeafarers does not use passwords.
